Mike Mestdagh grew up in Bloomfield Hills, MI, where his passion for discipline and teamwork was evident early on. He played college baseball for Michigan State University while excelling academically. As a student-athlete, he earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and obtained his bachelor’s degree in finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at MSU, laying the foundation for his future in wealth management.
After graduation, Mike began his career at Equitable Advisors (formerly AXA), where he spent six years working in the firm’s Retirement Benefits Group. During this time, he developed deep expertise in retirement planning, investment strategies, and risk management. His ability to cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients and his keen financial acumen positioned him as a trusted advisor in the industry.
In September 2021, Mike took the next step in his career by launching Mestdagh Wealth Management, a firm dedicated to helping executives with over $500,000 in investable assets grow, protect, and preserve their wealth. With a client-first approach, he provides tailored financial strategies designed to help high-net-worth individuals navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve long-term financial security.
